Broken Dish Mosaic at CelebrateME! Explore a new way of repurposing old or broken dishware! In this workshop, you’ll design your own mosaic pattern, arrange your mosaic pieces (consisting of broken dishware and other small tiles), glue them down, and learn how to grout your piece. All supplies are included, although if you have dishware you’d like to use, feel free to bring it in (pre-broken, please!). You will design and create an 8”x8” mosaic piece that can be displayed or used as a trivet. Participants will receive grout and the necessary supplies and instructions to grout their mosaic pieces at home, as the adhesive needs to dry for 24 hours before it can be grouted. |

Kinusaiga Come create a beautiful quilted-looking piece of artwork – no sewing required! Kinsaiga is a Japanese craft created by tucking fabric into grooves in a surface to make gorgeous works of art. In this class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of Kinusaiga: preparing a pattern, cutting and placing fabric, and tucking your fabric, and you’ll leave with a beautifully-finished, ready to display 6”x6” piece. All necessary supplies are included, but if you have a stash of fabric scraps you love, bring them to use on your artwork! |

Adult Mixed Media Unleash your inner creativity in this mixed media class for all skill levels! You will try unconventional painting, photo transfer, and texturing techniques as you explore a wide variety of media like paint, paper, fabric, simple printmaking, and found objects. Mixed media is all about trying new things and letting your creativity take you where it wants to - join us to discover and nurture your creative side while creating unique, layered compositions! |

Brittany (owner, artist, sticker-lover, & more) leads all of our workshops. She's studied art for many years, starting as a child at the Art Students League of Denver, she was a classroom teacher and instructional coach for 10 years, and she is a big believer that anyone and everyone is capable of creating and enjoying art! Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned artist, Brittany would love to have you in one of her classes.
