About Unruly Wit

Unruly Wit is run by Brittany Sundgren, a Denver-based artist with a love of color and puns. A Wellesley College graduate who majored in studio art with a focus on printmaking, Brittany has been creating art since she was a child. Whether she is painting, carving a print block, embroidering, drawing, or crafting jewelry, she aspires to bring a bit of joy and whimsy to her work.

Before opening Unruly Wit, Brittany was a classroom teacher and instructional coach for 10 years. In 2020, Brittany shifted away from working in the classroom and began creating custom pet portraits for friends and family. As her art practice grew, her voice and sense of artistic self developed as well.
